(He denies being an expert, claiming that there's nothing to aspire to once one is an expert).
After what Chris describes as a teenage overindulgence in Whisky, swore him off Whisky forever.
Many years later he was introduced to what he considers his favourite Whisky, Lagavulin, an Islay single malt Whisky, and then what happened? Well that's his story to tell.
Stories flow freely in Chris company. Interesting, sometimes challenging, always fascinating. Stories of important people who have helped shape his life journey. Possibly, one of these people would be Chris grandfather, Fred. The MG Magnette in the driveway was Fred's, Chris drove it to New Zealand from England.
Signing up for a course with Chris is almost a guarantee you'll get much more than you thought.
PS: I happen to know that Chris has been trained and worked in some of the top restaurants in the UK.
[Note from the webmaster: "I went to one of Chris Evans' Whisky tastings. Fascinating stuff and very entertaining. THANK GOD my hotel was only a block away..."]
