My teaching method is to provide students with one-on-one attention and to teach in small group so that students receive individual attention. By giving each student personal tuition, it will enable me to assist and guide the student in areas that they want to explore and or have difficulty learning in, as well as to provide constructive feedback.

I went from watercolour classes to oil painting.
About 22 years ago I started painting professionally. Since then I have done a Hon. Diploma in painting.
Today I start most paintings in mixed media and finish it with oil paint.
Teaching painting to all ages just happened and I love it to see how people grow in their work.
My work has sold all over the world. I have exhibited in the NZ Art Show (5x single wall), Academy of Fine Arts, Pataka and some smaller exhibitions.
My paintings are the breath of my soul. In every brush stroke you will find me scalp with a brush whimsically, straight from the heart uplifting life’s images flowing from the paintbrush. I have been a painting tutor in Tawa for 16 years and take private students and classes at Tawa Collage.
I celebrate life
Make people smile
My marks are bold and colourful I paint mostly still life
Each has its own story …….
I am blessed with a talent to paint and a gift to encourage. My studio is filled with watercolour, acrylic, ink and oil paint. That is my happy place.
