My family photography workshop is a practical down to earth hands-on workshop where you get to improve on the family photographs you are currently taking.

What you will leave the workshop with:

  • Your family/friends/significant others photographed for your personal use
  • Review of your family photography within a safe positive environment from me and your fellow class mates
  • Increasing your knowledge and confidence of taking photographs of your family and groups as you imagine and want rather than what the camera decides is a good photograph.

How good do I have to be to attend this workshop:
This is a beginner to mid-level two-day workshop on family photography which can also cover the basics of camera use, composition, manual exposure, histograms, what lens to use when, using natural light and composing a good shot where as needed/directed by the attendees.

Helping you improve on your photography and seeing the difference:
Participants are encouraged to invite their family/friends/significant others along in the second hour(ish) of the course to be photographed. They will be asked to come back (or another lot of family/friends arranged) again in the afternoon to be photographed by other attendees with each attendee alongside them.

Important:
All attendees will agree photographs of other family/friends/significant others will be deleted from all class attendees cameras at the end of the course unless given explicit permission otherwise. Should these photographs inadvertently go home with an attendee, they will be deleted and never used by that attendee.

Any photographs of your family/friends/significant others can be downloaded onto a memory stick via a laptop during the workshop.
